Here are our best tips to keep your Cloby pieces in perfect condition for years to come.

Each of our UV-protective items - like the blankets, playsuits, joggers, and sun hats - are made from a natural blend of organic cotton and bamboo. This fabric is soft, breathable, and thermoregulating by nature. To keep it that way:

• Wash at 30°C (cold or gentle cycle)
• Use a mild, eco-friendly detergent
• Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, or harsh chemicals, as they can weaken the natural fibers
• Turn items inside out before washing to preserve colors and prints

We know how tempting it is to toss everything in the dryer, but air drying is best. Drying naturally will:

• Preserve the fabric’s softness
• Help the item keep its shape
• Extend its lifespan

If you’re in a hurry, use the tumble dryer on low heat only.

No! The UPF 50+ protection in Cloby fabrics is woven into the fibers, not added as a chemical coating. This means it doesn’t wash out over time. However, excessive washing naturally damages fabric, which could affect the sun protection in the long term.

Our teddy blankets, ponchos, and suits are made from a cozy blend of recycled polyester teddy and organic cotton. They’re designed to stay soft and fluffy even after many washes.

To keep the teddy texture at its best:

• Wash at 30°C
• Avoid the dryer (it can flatten the teddy fibers)
• Shake out and air dry flat or hang dry
• Brush gently with your hands after drying to restore fluffiness
