Cloby products are made to last through everyday adventures, countless naps, and all the spills, messes, and magic moments. To make sure your favourite items stay as soft, beautiful, and functional as the day you bought them, a little care goes a long way.

Here are our best tips to keep your Cloby pieces in perfect condition for years to come.

To help preserve the fabric, colors and prints: 

• Wash at 30°C (cold or gentle cycle)
• Use a mild detergent
• Wash separately
• Wash inside out
• Do not bleach
• Avoid fabric softeners and other harsh chemicals 
• A laundry bag is recommended 

Strong chemicals, including chlorine and bleach, may affect the fibres and colors of the fabric. We therefore recommend avoiding them whenever possible. 

Air drying is the gentlest option for your Cloby items. For the best result: 

• Dry in the shade 
• Avoid prolonged drying in strong, direct sunlight 
• If needed, tumble dry on low heat only 
• Warm iron if needed 

Drying naturally in the shade is gentle on the fabric and helps keep colors looking beautiful for longer. 

🧴 To help keep colors looking their best, avoid direct contact with sunscreen, cosmetics, oils, chlorine and other harsh chemicals where possible. These substances may cause staining or discoloration when they come into contact with the fabric.

To help keep your Cloby items looking their best, avoid contact with rough or abrasive surfaces, such as concrete, rough stone, Velcro or other coarse materials. Repeated friction may cause pilling, pulls or local wear.

Cloby's UPF 50+ protection comes from the composition and construction of the fabric, rather than from a chemical UV coating that simply washes away. 

Normal washing - according to our care instructions - will therefore not remove the UV protection. 

As with any textile, however, significant wear, damage or thinning of the fabric over time may eventually affect its performance. We recommend replacing an item if the fabric has become heavily worn, damaged or noticeably thin.

Our teddy blankets, ponchos, and suits are made from a cozy blend of recycled polyester teddy and organic cotton. They’re designed to stay soft and fluffy even after many washes.

To keep the teddy texture at its best:

• Wash at 30°C
• Avoid the dryer (it can flatten the teddy fibers)
• Shake out and air dry flat or hang dry
• Brush gently with your hands after drying to restore fluffiness
